FBI News:
The “Shop and Rob Bandit” apparently robbed another Albuquerque bank Friday, May 27, but this time the unidentified man wore a brown wig, women’s clothes, and brown boots.
At approximately 1 p.m., an unknown male entered First Convenience Bank, located inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2550 Coors Boulevard NW. The suspect handed a demand note to a teller.
The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the store through the west entrance.
Suspect’s Description:
- Sex: Male
- Race: Black
- Height: 6’5”
- Build: Thin
- Clothing: Brown wig, sunglasses, white surgical mask, light-colored sweater, dark shirt, black and white tiger-stripe pants, brown boots.
- Other: He carried a black bag slung over his shoulder.
This individual is suspected also of robbing May 20 the First Convenience Bank, inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2266 Wyoming Boulevard NE.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Note: Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
